Clarity of Thought

Image
A famous French philosopher Rene Descartes quotes " I think therefore I am". The way we think and perceive defines our personality and character. If our thinking is enhanced with clarity and reduced ambiguity it helps us to become better and more efficient people.  A complete stretch from outcome visualization, the pathway to achieving the outcome, possible risks, and alternate plans can be attributed to clarity in thought. Questioning the "Why" : Switching from "What to do?" to "Why to do?" is the first step in achieving clarity of thought. It reduces the ambiguity in expected outcomes and gives a clear understanding of the need and result Visualize the "Path" : Assessing the direction to be taken from the status quo to the outcome is critical in achieving clarity and removing second thoughts. Steps can be figured out along the way but directions to be checked, and validated before starting. Power of Completeness : Have you got it cove...

Financial Independence

Image
I have seen a recent advertisement with a very catchy line "Don't work for the money, Make the money work for you" It is the base for achieving financial independence. You can get promotions and grow your salary but with salary, you can never achieve financial independence. A 4 Cr bank balance can give you a revenue of 24 Lakh per annum which is a common CTC of the IT industry.  Imagine a life where you can live the way you want without worrying about the payment of bills or managing an emergency expense. It begins with control, a balance in an account can't be treated as purchase capacity but as an investment to earn more. While I'm not against consumerism but we need to have our own limits basis for our financial goals Here are a few key points to achieving financial independence 1) Treat trading as a science, not luck 2) Understand where you stand currently 3) Track your spending (add as many categories of spending as possible) 4) Try to put your money in div...

Effective Communication For Climbing the Corporate Ladder

Effective communication goes beyond just speaking English. It involves expressing our ideas in a clear and concise manner, supported by facts and references. While English is a common business language, it's not important to develop high language skills as if giving a sports commentary or writing an editorial. In corporate communication, it's helpful to understand different templates for different types of communication, such as a simple email receipt acknowledgment, notification email, or update email. To improve communication skills, practice is essential. Writing blogs and getting feedback from peers can help gauge the quality of content. Presenting to friends and family, regardless of aesthetics, can help understand timing and comprehension. Don't let fear of humiliation hold you back, as even non-native speakers can face ridicule for pronunciation. It's important to develop a thick skin and not let others bring you down.  Here are some key points to improve communi...

Kerala - God's Own Country

Image
Kerala is a very scenic state with beautiful people all around and you can't get satisfied with just one visit (got the source of your idea Lays :P). The way they preserve their nature and culture and leverage the awesome backwaters is what makes it more special and gives us a lot of memories that will be cherished forever.        Road Trip to Kerala- This was one of the most Awesome journeys I've experienced so far... Within one month of purchasing life's first car and a newly learned driver (L board :P) we decided to go on a road trip by car. Was tensed a bit, but the recently built Bangalore - Mysore expressway made life easy. We were travelling to Wayanad during a good rainy day and passed through Bandipore forest.  As time passed by we were gaining confidence in my Husband's driving and got indulged in beautiful nature.  We were taking breaks wherever we see a good scenic view and had long chats since there was no disturbance of smartphones & TV or...
